The Filmmakers

Doug Blush (co-director/editor/cinematographer)

Doug Blush is an award winning documentary director, editor, cinematographer, and writer who has edited a wide range of major theatrically released documentaries, including crossword puzzle culture (WORDPLAY), the national debt crisis (I.O.U.S.A.), the hypocrisy of closeted gay politicians (OUTRAGE), corporate David and Goliath battles (BEER WARS), and the adaptation of the popular book FREAKONOMICS. He recently was co-writer and editor of the Sundance 2011 Premiere documentary THESE AMAZING SHADOWS, and consulting editor for the Sundance 2011 Competition documentary TROUBADOURS, as well as executive producer and co-editor of SUPERHEROES in the 2011 Slamdance Documentary Competition and on HBO. Lisa Klein (co-director/writer/producer)

Lisa Klein is a writer and filmmaker from Detroit, Michigan. She studied English and film at the University of Michigan, then moved to Los Angeles to go to graduate school at the University of Southern California. Klein’s impetus to make this documentary stemmed from her sister’s long battle with bipolar disorder. This film is a personal journey to attempt to grasp the complexities and pain that encompass living in a world of extremes. Klein co-directed the festival documentary short WHAT A BALL and the Fox Movie Channel special interest documentary CULT CULTURE: THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE with her husband and film partner Doug Blush.

Christine O’Malley (executive producer)

As the producing half of O’Malley/Creadon Productions, Christine has overseen the hit documentaries WORDPLAY, I.O.U.S.A., and the 2011 Sundance premiere THESE AMAZING SHADOWS. She is also co-executive producer (with Pat Creadon and Doug Blush) of SUPERHEROES, seen on HBO, and exec producer of THE BIG UNEASY, directed by Harry Shearer. Her earlier work includes ENRON: THE SMARTEST GUYS IN THE ROOM, with director Alex Gibney.  Her new film, produced with her husband Patrick Creadon, is the inspiring educational documentary IF YOU BUILD IT.

Kristin Chambers (producer)

OF TWO MINDS is dedicated in the memory of our producer and friend Kristin, who passed after a long battle with cancer in 2011.  She helped shape the film with her incredible spirit, humor and wisdom, and she will be remembered by her great circle of friends and family as a champion of the arts and of social progress.

Keith Kenniff (composer)

Keith Kenniff has scored a number of documentary features, including the 2012 Sundance selections CHASING ICE and THE BONES BRIGADE: AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY, as well as COAST MODERN, THE VANISHING OF THE BEES and THE LAST SURVIVOR.
